Hi, is there a easy way to put a measure like it is on the top of the following picture, and not like on the bottom of the picture.
For the one on top, I overlap my measure line wtih my real line.

You’re using the free web version of SketchUp as indicated in your profile? If so, what you’re doing is the way. If you were using SketchUp Pro you could do the the dimensioning in LayOut and make the extension lines and even the dimension lines transparent so they don’t show at all.
This is in LayOut. The dimension on the right, although still attached to the model, has transparent extension lines.
