So I am designing some DC’s and I assign a material. When I go to change the material It says material not in model, but it’s right there! I can click on it, use it but the DC won’t recognize it. Sometimes it randomly generates a new material with a 1 added. What am I missing? THANKS!

Materials behave strangely on mac with DCs, anyone else with this problem?

has to do with multiple materials of same name imported to model with another component.
