Hi All,
The material resizer does not pick up any of the materials in the model. Is this a known bug? I have re-installed it and restarted SU. SU version 26.0.429 so not the latest. I do not want to upgrade yet as I am half way through a project so I do not want to tempt fate.

Could you share the file?
usually it’s all white like that when all there in the file is colours.
odd that it doesn’t see the flower material ?
I just tried in a SU26.2 file, with a material and colours, and it works fine…
so yeah, could you share the file please ?

Hi Sorry been away. Here is the file. NO Materials are picked up on material resizer for this file. Do you get the same?

I see that. I wonder if it’s because the materials are all very tiny images. The largest one is this one.
One of the others:
No need to reduce any of those textures.

The textures are already very small, so there is nothing to reduce.
Nothing broken with the file, you’re good to go.

Thanks I used Material resizer to shrink it but then they stopped showing up. What did you use to list the materials by the way?

Hi I use material Resizer to reduce the materials. They were much larger to start with as I took them from photos. They then disappeared from the material resizer dialogue.

What size of file do you get when you load it up? I am shocked that it is so large.

Looking at the code it looks like they do need to be above a certain size to be listed.

It’s not the materials. It’s the edges, faces, groups, and components that are bulking up the file.

@Grey It’s from nEVEn’s session report after I scanned your model.
