Lots of good ones but I haven’t seen a recent one. Usually from around 2022 and from what I can gather things have improved a bit since then?

Two channels by Mike Brightman – as Mike said above – the fundamentals are basically the same.
I’ve seen lots of good videos from 2023(ish) and prior. My worry was that I might be missing out on new features but it sounds like it won’t be a problem.

There haven’t been added new modeling tools, I don’t remember if the mirror tool was added in 2023 or 2022, that was the last one, there have been added more features to some tools like snaps and on layout the only new features that were added are with the splitting and gluing tools. Any ways you can check the release notes and the many videos showing the other features added in sketchup 2025 but the way sketchup and layout work hasn’t changed much since since the mid 2000’s

SketchUp put out videos on “what’s new in 2025”, so you can watch them too. 2025 made it possible to move objects more like in SketchUp itself, though there times when you still need the old method which still works.
