I’m afraid I’ve spread myself a little too thin.
I am a semi advanced Revit user and my interests in sketchup for ipad are 98% architectural.
I would love to immerse myself in a course where I can waste very little time learning Sketchup for ipad for architectural design. I have absolutely no desire to use Sketchup on my pc because I would model anything I’m working on in Revit and have no need to do anything twice.
In short, my sketchup use would be exclusively remote. Would be used to convey 3d design concepts to clients on site. And/or to bring models into procreate or Morpholio Trace to further tweak the design.
So, with that said, is there a learning resource someone can recommend where I can get the biggest bang for my buck by learning hopefully what I want to learn as quickly and thoroughly as possible?
Thank You
the web interface is close to the ipad interface, and they share the same core.
it’ll teach you the basics about sketchup as a whole
also, sketchup for ipad, tool by tool, the official playlist. (a 52-videos playlist)
learning a software comes in two parts, learning how the tools work, and learning what to do with them.
as you’re a revit user, you’re likely “2d-3d educated”. most of the basic tools will be quick to understand by yourself (after watching the 10min presentation).
from there, you can start simple projects, show them here, ask for feedback, and so on
Thank You @ateliernab.
I’m diving in to this now.
