I can not change the size of the TEXT to anything else apart form the ones listen…
If this is about LO26 (your profile says you’re still using 2024), I think the issue was flagged early after the release. (The audiobook or podcast you’re listening to sounds interesting)
If you need 45 font while waiting for a bug fix, you could copy it in from a word doc or previous LO version. Just don’t open the text editor with the 45 font text selected or it will jump to another size.
I haven’t jumped into ‘26 yet as the bugs so far experienced are killers for me!
But try the text > bigger/smaller feature, this may work.
I tried updating my profile with SketchUp 2026, but there is an error message.
I was 'aware that this issue was already reported. I usually search on them before posting, this I missed or I searched with WRONG KEY ORDS.
I only report BUG or MALFUNCTION as I find them as it would be better for everyone if they could be fixed. Especially with basics like - letter size. I found a couple of more - which would make work faster if they could be fixed.
I love using SketchUp with Layout when they work well, and I am very happy that Layout is being updated with each updates too. Its making work so much faster. I have a long lost of whish list for Layout for it to become the best drafting software which works seamlessly with SketchUp, providing a very strong selling point for people like me, who still need to document 3D designs.
Hopefully reporting BUG are also useful for developers and customers alike. The quickest they so they eliminate them faster we work and the reputation of SketchUp will grow, as it is indeed growing.
