I need my team to use my company title block on their computers. I’ve created a custom template and now need to put that on their computer so they can use. Where is the title block that I created stored? I’m planning to copy that file and put it directly into the appropriate folder.
Edit (menu) > Preferences… > Files
Will list all the paths for patternfills, templates and scrapbooks.
You can use the %ProgramData% path for all users on a workstation, or perhaps add a shared network folder.
If you used “Save As Template” by default, it will go in the user path templates folder, as specified in the Preferences dialog (as mentioned above.)
In my computer the templates installed by SketchUp are in C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\LayOut\templates. When I save a LayOut file as a template it goes to C:\Users\<my user name>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\LayOut\Templates.
Windows hides the ProgramData and the AppData folders by default, but you can enable their visibility in Folder options.
