I will also add that things like furniture, cars, etc. have complex geometry that export millions of segmented lines and make things clunky. You should incorporate a 2D vs. 3D layering system into your models. I have a library of assets I’ve built over the years (doors, furniture, vehicles, etc.) Each component has a 3D and a 2D layer within it. That way I can turn off the complex 3D layer in plan view and turn on the simplified 2D symbol. Helpful for Layout plans and CAD plans. Manage the layers you want to see on/ off using scenes.
