This has been driving me mad forever
When editing paths sometimes I would inadvertently highlight a path between two or more points.
I would want to stay in edit mode but pressing the esc key only exited the path editor
I’ve only recently discovered that clicking away from the path deselects the highlighted path(s) and you are still in edit mode

Following on from this thread…
I am interested to know how others manage their drawings as they evolve.
In architecture, you typically identify the iteration of a drawing by a revision reference. You might also use a Drawing Issue Sheet that says which version of what drawing was sent to whom and when.
These days, drawings are often sent as PDFs and not as hard copies. They then tend to get sent by email. So if you maintain a good email archive, it is fairly self-policing. But hunting through reams of emails to find the…
I delved back into Nick and Matt’s book and discovered that if you right click on a layer in the layer tray and click select entities it selects all of the entities on that layer!

So it does. And if you do the same on another layer, it adds them collectively (ie. it doesn’t deselect the last selection).
