I just updated to 2026 and Layout is crashing every time I try to change a shape’s fill or stroke color. This happens as soon as I click on the color bar. I can change patterns. I tried enabling/disabling the experimental graphics engine and draft mode. I noticed the same problem when trying to change text color.
Just discovered a quirk in Layout: if the color tray is open, I can change the fill or stroke color by clicking on the color bars and adjusting it through the tray settings. But if the color tray isn’t open and I try the same thing—boom, Layout crashes. A bit frustrating, especially since it worked more smoothly in previous versions. Anyone else run into this?
