Hi, I recently updated my iMac with the new operating system ‘macOS Mojave 10.14.5’. My Sketchup Pro 2017 works fine but the LayOut application has stopped working and comes up with this error message when I try to open it ’

**LayOut cannot be opened because of a problem.**Check with the developer to make sure LayOut works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.

SketchUp/LayOut 2017 was released well before Mojave and does not explicitly support the operating system. You would need to either roll back the OS or upgrade SketchUp and LayOut.
