someone from SU explained a bit while ago, basically IOS ecosystem is simpler and more stable, while with android, you have to deal with 7 versions still in use, plus some extra layers on top, and a high variety of different specific machines and cases. same with ipad VS android tablets. plus the ipad has a very good pen and the pro version comes with a lidar. and in the US, where trimble is located, 56% of the phones are ios. all combined, it made more sense for SU to focus on ios than andr…
