One extension that could help for some of your parts is Tax_Engineering @ Sketchucation: https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=74004 He provides tools for generating chains, suspension springs/pistons and spur gears amongst other things. Good luck with your project!
