Afternoon. Whilst learning (a lot) I came across the follow issue that I haven’t yet got to the stage of resolving by myself. How to I join the corners of this curved and angled shape?

Is there some reason for not using Follow Me to do this? A simple path and profile of the shape should do it.
There are different ways you could do this, including a very long-winded manual way or by using Solid Tools (if you divided the group up into sections). But as @DaveR says, the go-to method would be Follow Me.
