Is there a way to do arrays on the iPad? I want to be able to do a linear, rectangular and a radial array, so I need some how-ro advice.
Arrays are done in the same way you’d do it in SketchUp Pro.
Select your object and activate the move tool.
Select the modifier for Copy
Place your second copy and type “X” or “/” in the text box to array or divide.
Radial array would be the same, but with the Rotate tool activated rather than Move.
I am not able to invoke an array with the divide key “/“ on my iPad Pro. When I try to do it, it switches to the “walk” tool which uses the hotkey “/“ and prompts me to input the “eye height” value. Any way around this?
Have you tried typing the number first and then the divide symbol, example “3/” instead of “/3”?
I feel sure I have reported this as a problem already.
For now, touch the magnifier icon to do a search, search for Walk, and change the keyboard shortcut to anything else. Shift-W for example. Then / will let you create an array.
