Is there a smart way to automatically place components inside a basic form (ex : seating plan based on rectangle area)?

Hi,

I’m searching for a tool, tip, dynamic component or extension that can be able to help me for drawing seating plans for entertainment.

My wish :

  • I draw a basic form (rectangle, diamond),
  • I choose a specific component (chair model of the venue),
  • I enter specific dimensions (ex : dimension between to rows of seats, space between two seats)
  • And it places automatically as many seats as it can be possible inside this rectangle according dimensions rules

Do you have any ideas or allready existing extensions that can be reach my needs ?

You can try some extensions: Curic Face Array or Skatter by Lindale.
