Is there a back up repository in my.sketchup?

Hello.

I was using my.sketchup and suddenly the screen froze and the program relaunched. When I opened the work I was doing it took me back to where I was back on August 06. (about three weeks of work gone…)
Wondering if the automatic cloud saving keeps data somewhere to retrieve it…

Hi.
There is an autosave every 5 minutes but that is a local autosave to your browser’s cache. It’s really strange that the recovery went so far back. Were you clicking the “Save” button ever during modeling? Models get pushed to cloud storage when you name and save them, which is currently a manual process.
