Imported DWG shows rectangles as a curve

Hey all. I noticed with the latest version that rectangles are showing as a curve and I have to explode the curve to edit it. Any idea if this is a bug or feature. I’ve never had this happen before.

can you share an example? I have yet to see this behaviour…

Thanks. I just uploaded an example

Every one of those rectangles is a curve, according to SketchUp. I have to explode all of them in order to change the size of them.

No link attached.
In AutoCad, are the rectangles polylines, separate lines or some other type of object?

SketchUp has only two types of “linear” elements: An edge and a curve where several edges are welded together (an arc or circle is a special kind of curve). AutoCad polylines might get translated into curves. SketchUp doesn’t have a vertex editing system like AutoCad.

I added a screenshot, not a link. It is a polyline in AutoCad.

That explains it then.

Got it. I have used the same workflow process for all of my models. I have never had this happen. Or I just have never noticed.
