As far as I can tell, Layout doesn’t allow directly importing keyboard shortcuts, which I find unbelievable. I used to at least copy over the shortcuts.xml file, but I can’t find it in 2025. Have they changed where the information is stored?
Am I missing something?
I appreciate the updates to the software, but it is cumbersome to keep upgrading when I lose my preferences.
Did you install properly SketchUp, that means right click on the installer and select run as administrator? If you haven’t done that, go to the installer and do it, a window will pop, choose repair, if you still don´t have the shortcuts from 2024, do the same but choose reinstall.

This frustration arose, because I updated the software on my laptop. Since I rarely use SU or LO on it, they were the '23 versions.
I’ll try to remember that for next time; it isn’t worth going back now. It would still be nice to have the import option that is in SU. Do you know where the hotkeys are saved now? Is there a file that can be overwritten?
