I can’t type my email when trying to sign in to SketchUp for iPad

Hi,

I recently installed SketchUp for iPad.

When I try to sign in, I can’t type my email — the text field doesn’t respond to the keyboard or Apple Pencil.

I already tried reinstalling the app, turning off Apple Pencil, and logging in through Safari, but nothing works.

Device: iPad Pro M4 13-inch

Operating system: iPadOS 18.1.1

Graphics: Apple M4

It seems to work on my M4 iPad. Are you using the new 7.3 release?

@zahrajahangiri965 Another question that would help us troubleshoot is, are you using the onscreen keyboard, apple magic keyboard, or other 3rd party keyboard?

Reboot the iPad

Follow the steps for your device.

On your iPad without a Home button

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button closest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button until the device begins to restart.
