share file.
itās a nice screenshot. no idea what itās showing though.
yep, ok, still, not a sketchup file, thatās another screenshot. no idea how big it is, no idea how it was made, and no idea what it should become.
can you share the skp file please? if itās too big, use wetransfer and share the link.
TREE SAMPLE R-4.skp (7.4 MB)
Iām trying to create kind of tree this is a 1 part of the tree, Can you guide me properly.
I already trying with the solid tool. but I canāt
your file is slow. very slow. because it contains HALF A BILLION lines and a QUARTER BILLION faces.
there are such things as big files, then super big files, then there is yours.
I have a solid machine, and just zooming in makes it crawl.
all that for a tree ?
short answer is, you canāt. just canāt.
also, solid tool need solid groups or components, and your red springs arenāt solid.
what are you trying to make exactly ?
edit : you made that in SU ? or did you import it from another software ?
Oh ! thank you for your valuable time. And what is ''SU" ?
This is the most important question and should be answered in the opening post of every thread..
A picture without any explanation doesnāt even come close to being clear about what you are trying to achieve!
Donāt leave everyone guessing here, be clear!
Why donāt you answer his questions?
SU is short for SketchUp..
Actually, Iām trying to create an tree. (The Great Banyan Tree) it is also very big in size itself. Canopy size is very large. (Canopy area size is around 18000sqm)
We create this but now we need to modify this with the beautiful concept and story.
I want to make 3d model for modifying this. But I canāt do in this software.
Depending on what you mean by āmodifyingā and what you do with the 3D model, this can probably be done with this software (SU).
SketchUp + V-Ray (Enmesh)
What other software do you know how to use to try to create such a model?
how itās possible, could you guide me. and I donāt know very much other software.
- What program do you know how to use?
- Do you know the basics of SketchUp?
- What do you plan to do with the 3D model once created? 3D printing, rendering, something else?
- What exactly do you mean by āmodifyingā?
- If itās for rendering, what program do you use for that?
I showed you how it could be done using V-Ray for SketchUp.
Do you want to model the Banyan tree or that sculpture? I donāt think thereās a software that can handle all the geometry of the original Banyan tree, itās like a forest, youāll need to work with proxys.
