How to resize components in SU for iPad

I have created a component in SU for iPad, but I need to alter one of its dimensions. At the moment, it is too long. I need to shortee. n it by 2 inches. Can’t see a way of easily doing this apart from re-drawing it from scratch and creating a new component. I see a dimensions box ( not quite sure how it comes up), but it does not accept any new .dimensions. Any help appreciated.

Open the component for editing and, assuming the object isn’t flat on the end, select the geometry of one end and use the Move tool to move the selection 2 inches.

It would help to give more specific information if you share the model so we can see exactly what you are working with.
