How to make shortcut from ruby command?

Hi Gang

I want to get some Materials list goodness on my Mac using TIG’s “TIGmatlist” -

How do you make a shortcut from the ruby command?

Often, in order to see menu commands appear in the Shortcuts listing, you need to put SketchUp into a state where the command becomes active.

For example, a command that operates upon a selection, and only appears in the context-menu when right-clicked upon selection, will only appear in the Shortcuts command list when there is a selection.

In this case the download page for that extension says:

Usage:

Ruby-Console > TIG.matlist | Tools > Materials from List… [or shortcut]

So, open the Shortcuts panel in the Preferences dialog, and filter by “Tools”, then scroll down to the "M"s and find the command. When selected, assign the desired keychord.
