Hey you all,
I love using Sketchup Diffusion for architectural design ideas, but the image quality isn’t great for presentations. Any tips to improve this? Thanks!
How are you getting the images out?
BTW, your profile says you are using SketchUp 2017 Make. Is that correct?
Hi Dave, you’re absolutely right. It’s been a while since I updated my profile.
I’m currently working with SketchUp 2023/2024 and have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design.
Even with this setup, I’m struggling to get high-quality Diffusion renders.
The resolution is quite low and the details are blurry.
Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the render quality?
Unfortunately I don’t have any ideas to improve the image quality over what you see in the current versions of SketchUp. (Thanks for updating your profile, by the way.) I suppose one of the Diffusion guys will chime in when they have a moment but my suspicion is that the images aren’t intended to be high res since the aim isn’t to create rendered images of a model such as you’d get from Vray or other renderers.
@Oshri Upscaling is an active area of investigation for us.
Many of the users who we’ve spoken with about upscaling have mentioned or demo’d the upscaling workflows they’re using with Krea.ai
We’re currently working to better understand where in the workflow, and how often users would want to upscale an image. It can take up to twice as long, or more per image to upscale so our current thinking is that we’d want to offer users the option to upscale one image at a time.
Curious to get any additional thoughts or info you have along these lines.
Thanks!
