Is there any extension does this?
I just need to separate the pieces from each other in order to create a guide for assembly and to calculate quantities.
There are some old extensions that will create exploded views but I find them clumsy and they don’t make good exploded views. What they do still needs to be manually modified. It’s a simple matter to make the exploded views with the Select and Move tools.
Example. It only took a few seconds to make the view for this scene with Select and Move.
BTW, what version of SketchUp are you actually using? Your profile says Classic license 2025. Does that mean it’s a cr acked version?
You don’t need to make an exploded view to get quantities. There are several extensions that will generate a cut list from the components in the model.

OpenCutList can do this for you… I don’t use it as I create my own exploded views for timber joinery, but it’s a cool feature to make use of.
