Anyone know how to create a component library in Sketchup for schools. I have been using the desktop version for years but am forced now to use the Web based Sketchup with my classes and find it very frustrating. In the past I have always created component libraries as I find getting students to search things from the 3D warehouse a black hole of problems and distractions. If they are only allowed to use a library where I have vetted the components for size and quality then they are able to focus on their assignments and design challenges. How can I create this in the Web based version? For example most students would rather download a completed professional kitchen then create their own. Thanks
You can’t create component collections in the same way as with the desktop version. If you can give your students access to a common directory on Google Drive you could create a folder there for the components.
