Can I set where backup files are saved? I want them to go into a different folder than my other files.

There’s no setting for that. They automatically go into the same directory as the SKP file so that SketchUp knows where to find them. There are apps that can move files to other locations if you need that.
Hi. Am using Sketchup 15 on Mac latest OS.
Never touched back up folders, automatic save settings etc, save to increase to once every 1 minute, from 5 (factory setting), which I did months if not years ago.
Last couple of weeks - automatic message popping up “Sketchup failed to save file” every minute. What has gone wrong? And how do I fix it?
