How do you bend shapes?

Nothing fancy, just imagine I have a flat rectangle or other shape which I would like to bend. For example, imagine making one bend into a piece of paper so that it can stand up in an A frame, or two bends so that it can stand like a table. How would I do that in Sketchup Web?

What I’m actually trying to do is bend this straight “hurricane strap” around the top of this top plate and back down the other side, though this isn’t the first situation where I wished I could bend something.

I was able to figure out how to do this. For the sake of future people wondering this same thing, I’ll go ahead and answer my own question.

To sum it up: use a pencil tool to draw a line where you want the bend to go, select the part that you want to move, and rotate about the line you drew to bend.
