Does anyone know how can I remove a license off of my laptop which just died so I have it available for use on a future computer?

Which version of SketchUp? 2018 as your profile indicates? Is your Maintenance and Support up to date?
If you can’t start the computer to remove the license, you can go to sketchup.com and use the Contact Us page to start a ticket for customer support. They should be able to free up the license.
