How can I connect two perpendicular surfaces with a round pipe at 45 degrees? And not have excess

I would like to simulate using a 3" pipe as a brace at 45 degrees to connect to flat perpendicular surfaces. I drew two circles and extruded on the vertical axis to create the pipe, then rotated 45 degrees, but it did not separate the pipe at the intersections. So now I cannot figure out how to delete the excess pipe at either end. Please let me know how to delete the excess, or if there is a better way to draw this. TIA!

You’ll need to use Intersect Faces to create the intersection between the vertical/horizontal and the pipe. Did you make the pipe a component or group?

Thank you for all of your help!
