How can I change all of the edges of an imported object to black?

I have imported an object and I want to change all of the lines to black. Is there a way to do that globally on an object without having to select each line individually?

It depends on why they aren’t black? You can probably do it quickly but without seeing the model it’s impossible to tell you exactly what you need to do.

Are you still using SketchUp 2019 on MacOS 10.14.4?

I am running SketchUp 2023 on a MacPro 2021 with Monterey on a M1 Max
I think that the object was just painted as a group when it was created so the whole thing is the same color/texture. I’d like to make the edges of the object black.

Please correct your forum profile.

If the object or the edges inside were painted, apply the default material to which it is. If it’s the edges inside the object, select them all and apply the default material to the selection. This is just a WA guess based on your description, though. Might be that a simple style change is all you need.

how do I correct my profile?

Selecting the whole object and applying the default worked great! I just reapplied the texture to the individual faces. thanks!

Click on the G in the colored circle at the top right of the forum page. Then click on the person icon, Preferences, and then Profile. After updating the information scroll to the bottom and save the changes.

Good.
