While using Layout version 2026.0.428 I use two screens. One for the model and one for the windows. For some reason, I can no longer see the SketchUp Model window. All other windows open just fine and they even stack together ok. But the SketchUp Model window is nowhere to be seen. it even has the check mark next to it saying it is open and expanded. Any ideas?

Follow this guide exactly (make sure SketchUp Model window is active)
- Hold down the ALT key. Hit SPACEBAR.
- Release ALT key
- Hit M (Move).
- Hit one of ← ↑ → ↓ arrow keys
- Move your mouse around (without pressing any mouse key) until you see the missing window.
- Press left mouse button on the desired place
( Note I assume you have English windows otherwise you may need to replace “M” with a localized start letter, e.g. “L” in French)

Make sure if the “problematic” SketchUp window is the active. Then push:
⊞Win +Shift + ← or→
(Windows Key + Shift + left or right Arrow keys )
for moving SketchUp windows between multiple monitors
have you tried Alt+Tab to cycle through open windows? Also try unplugging the cord for the external monitor, sometimes windows will force the contents onto the remaining screen.
I have this happen as well. One thing you may try is to leave only sketchup and layout open and running, and right click on the taskbar (?) and select cascade windows.
