Hello Sketchup Folks. I’ve been plugging along on a heavy lift drone design. Sigh. The trouble with aerodynamical related design projects is that everything related to aerodynamics seems almost unbearably complicated. Anyway, I did create an Introductory Video and sent it to my YouTube channel.Heavy Lift Drone Introductory Video
I plan a few more YouTubes to explain how I made the various parts of the drone. I made a few videos where I am creating a part in Sketchup. I can’t decide if that is simply boring or if folks would be interested. I do plan to show how Sketchup can be used to make a Sketchup model that is an accurate representation of a mathematically described propeller. I think that is pretty cool. I plan to send the Sketchup files to my website where you can download them, and I will try to get some to my Sketchup Warehouse collection. Enjoy! Dr. Gray (The image was rendered in KeyShot).
I have added the Sketchup drawing files that I used to make the YouTube Intro video to my 3D Warehouse collection. The overall name of my 3D Warehouse area is Pistonrobot. The collection holding the Heavy Lift Drone drawings is named:

Yeah well, maybe that’s why it took humankind a while to figure a way to get even a couple yards off the ground! Keep up the the good work! (I like the blockheads!)
thanks pbacot, I like the manikins. I considered to let them have facial expressions, but that would be quite a project in Sketchup. pg
