Hi! I’m Chris and when I use the pull tool to make walls they become sort of invisible and I cant find a way to fix it. The photo attached show what I’m dealing with. Btw this is my first time using SketchUp so if you have any tips it would mean a lot 
They aren’t invisible. You’ve turned on Back Edges, probably by tapping K inadvertently. Tap K again to turn them off.

Not at all dumb, it’s just a great Sketchup feature. You aren’t the first to ask about it.

No worries at all and it’s not a dumb question. As @Wo3Dan wrote others have had the same thing happen. And if you don’t know that those dashed lines are called Back Edges it’s hard to search help files for the fix. It’s all good now.
