Background Dashed Lines Won't Go Away

I seem to have accidentally selected some kind of viewing option where the geometry of background elements is visible through foreground elements as a big mess of dashed lines. It’s making my model confusing to look at and I want to turn it off, but so far I haven’t been able to figure out why it’s happening. Can anyone shed light on this?
And just to clarify, the dashed lines I’m seeing are not the guides. They’re the contours of all the components of my model.
Thanks!

Hit the K key.

You’re seeing Back Edges. K toggles them on and off.

Are you using the online SketchUp Free or SketchUp Make?

Thank you! that resolved it. I figured it would be something simple. I’m using Free. I was using Make until recently.

Good enough.
