Does anyone have experience with small groups using SketchUp for Schools for a house design project? Do students need to work together on only one computer, or can they work separately and then combine designs? Or would it be better to just assign group members certain rooms of the house and not make a complete house? Thank you!
I didn’t do exactly that; all my student were drawing the same assignment. That said, SU for Schools integrated wall with Google Drive. I created a shared class folder that all students in the class had access to to get files (in my case, mostly premade components) and, with the right settings, can save files to. Everyone can work on their own part, save it to the shared folder, and then others can either pick up where they left off, or add that part to their own model.
