Hi I wrote to client assistance and I was redirected here. I’m a teacher at PUC-Rio University and have been teaching SketchUp for many years. I wanted to discuss the recent change to the geolocation feature in our SketchUp Education version for our labs. I noticed it now requires a signature and directs us to a plans and pricing page, which wasn’t the case when we started our contract in February, not to mention that we paid for the product already.
Our reseller – TOTALCAD – mentioned that Trimble recently changed the rules, but we weren’t informed about this change in advance. It’s a bit frustrating, as it impacts how we use the software in our classes, and honestly, it just doesn’t feel right.
Could you provide some clarity on this? I’d really appreciate any information you can share.
