How can i get more clear and vivid imagery from the Geo location? When google had this program the imagery was much clearer. Anyone have any work-arounds?
When Google had SketchUp they allowed SketchUp to use Google Earth imagery. When they decided they no longer wanted SketchUp and sold it, they took away the ability to use their imagery. The solution that was found was to use Digital Globe but it isn’t available free. You can get higher res imagery for areas covered by it although there’s a charge for it. In North America the available hi res areas are shown in blue.
Another option is to use the Placemaker extension. Again, the hi res imagery is expensive so not available for free.
