I have been using the web version on my Mac mini. It crashes constantly, so I thought I might try out the free trial version to see if I get better stability. But, when I try to download, it goes to a web page and loads … nothing. I have tried the web version on 3 different browsers with the same result.
Did you check the downloads folder? It probably already downloaded the installer, it’s a dmg file.

For the web version - are you using Safari or have you tried Chrome or FireFox?
Try this link, I downloaded the sketchup installer for mac and uploaded to wetransfer. Another forum member was having the same issue on mac but he could download with thw link i shared with him
