FOLLOW ME tool erases selected shape

Hi there.

I’m trying a basic to use the FOLLOW ME tool according to this example (link below).

The video shows a MAC and I have a PC but surely the FMT works the same.

At time :52, when I select the circle to become a sphere, it will just disappear (as erased).

I’m trying for two hours now but I must do something wrong; it will never work.

Any help please?

You may be working with geometry that produces too short edges. Sketchup then can’t create faces and all disappears.
Work at (much) larger scale.

You’re right, it works now.

I was drawing a 5mm sphere and it wouldn’t work.

Making it 50cm does the trick.
