Hi There!
If I want to have white walls, I set the darks to 100 and lights to 0. That gives me white walls, but the picture is absolutely flat, there’s no 3D effect.
If I want to achieve plasticity in the model and attain some 3D effect, I must set the darks at least to 36, but I end up with dark grey walls.
Any advice, please? Thank you.
P.S. The orientation Front colour and Back colour are set correctly.
Try adjusting the sliders a little.
You can see how I’ve set the sliders to get the walls to be white. I applied gray to the top of the walls.
The picture remains flat with darks at 82. It starts to be 3D around 70, but then the walls become grey.
But THANK YOU anyway for your willingness to help!
Thank you for your advice!
Ambient Oclusion really helps. I don’t like it much for some of its qualities, but when it’s set correctly, the picture looks the way I need.
So thank you for your suggestion, it really helped me.
