File format export

This site. https://uploads.protolabs.com/PartUpload-MultiPart.aspx

is asking me to export my file in a format that they can read. Is there a particular format here that you’d recommend I use? Its to get a quote for a steel mold for producing silicone injected parts.

I believe .stp is the preferred format.

Thank you,

Roland

They seem to accept several formats for costing:

Including SKP since 2014…
They also accept STL can be exported from a SKP using the extension available from the ExtensionsWarehouse…
all it took was some minimal Googling…

Your profile indicates you have Make ?

Make’s export file formats are purposely limited, because it is not supposed to be used (per the EULA) for commercial projects.

Even Pro does not have native import or export for the “.stpSTEP CAD (ISO 10303-21) format.
