Extracting Swatches from Older SketchUp on Mac OS

Hi Team,

We have a designer here who’s transferred to a new laptop and needs swatches from the old machine. He’s on Mac OS so I can’t really help him but I assume those materials would be saved in his SketchUp folders somewhere? On Windows if I open/create a new collection it takes me to the AppData/Roaming folders where there’s a Materials folder that’s been created by the install.

Mac OS allows for some regularly used swatches to be saved at the bottom of the Materials Window and I would assume there’s a way to find those materials… Anyone have any advice?

You mean the custom ones beneath the material panel?
Try:

  • /System/Library/Colors
  • ~/Library/Colors
