How can i export a 3Ds Max model into Sketchup so that i can then edit it in Sketch up. I realize its usually the other way round but i have my reasons.

Save the file as sketch up Ver 8, then from 3ds Max, open the file normally not import , just open.
show all files to see Skp ext, then you can re save it as Max
