Export PDF from Sketchup 2015

I’m attempting to export 2D to PDF, and the Exporting 2D Graphic Status box has been up for more than 30 minutes without the file actually being exported. I’ve tried this several times, and keep having to force-quit Sketchup. JPG export works just fine, just not PDF. Working on an iMac under OSX 10.10.5

Anyone else having this issue?

There is an issue with exporting 2D PDFs. Try using the print command to print to a PDF instead.

One way to end up with *.pdf files is to export/send Sketchup files to Layout first. Then export from Layout in *.pdf form to anywhere.
