Enlarging the scene ribon

There are often requests for implementing scene groups.
I have a less elegant request: The possibility to drag the scene ribon down to fit more scenes if needed :

Yeah that certainly clutters the view.
But as someone who never display any toolbar, I would gladly sacrifice that space when needed to make my presentations faster.
And cleaner as well, since I’d be less likely to summon any tag or style tray.

What do you guys think?

I don’t remember the last time I used the Scenes tab; instead, I use the Curic Scene extension, here I :

  • group scenes
  • copy properties from one scene and paste to another/others
  • update multiple Curic Sections
  • update, delete, edit, etc.

I agree. Its a feature request I have mentioned as well. Having to scroll laterally is slow.

Thank you for sharing bmaxim!
It seems like a smarter version of the scene tray. With the scene grouping, and nice icons for each folders. As always with Curic’s plugin, the interface looks just perfect. I will check it.
Does it also completely replace the scene tray for you?
By the look of it, that’s probably what would happen to me if I get it.
I would still need the scene tab though. Its non invasive appearance on the screen is great, and it helps me remain immersed in the model.
