Can anyone suggest how to adapt/update this plugin for SU 2025? Perhaps an update to the dialog box invocation (HtmlDialog/WebDialog) or compatibility with Ruby 3.2 is required?
I will be grateful for any advice, working solutions or links to the updated version of the plugin!
Please do NOT republish copyrighted extensions. This often results in old versions hanging around that people install rather than getting the latest version from the Extension Warehouse or the SketchUcation Plugin Store.
Sometimes when updating or when displays have been unplugged from the last time an extension was used, the dialog coordinates could be offscreen. You can try my dialog cascader extension to bring it back onscreen:
I think there’s been a decade or so since I published the latest version of this extension. It’s heavily outdated and has a lot of issues. I’ve been wanting to fix it, and even spent a few weeks on it last year, but it’s such a large project I haven’t gotten to the point I can publish it.
If it does not work in 2025, my recommendation would be to try an older SU version.
