I’m creating a dynamic component for a slab. But, as you can see in the image, the copies aren’t stretched (LenX) like the first element. The length in the LenX field of the subcomponents is correct.
What’s wrong?
Oops! Now it seems to be working. I reset the measurement to the original (1 m) and tried scaling again.
You may have a problem with DC copy when the sub-object to copy is not a component, but a group. You have to work with component for copy
Thanks Alan4- But all sub-objects are components except for the 1x1 squares, inside the main sub-components, to stretch the material.
Could these small squares be causing problems?
Maybe. In my experience, when there’s a problem with copying that isn’t related to the object name, syntax, or calculation, it’s because there’s a group being copied. If you have multiple copies of the same dynamic component, that’s when the group becomes a problem.
