Is there an easy 3d drawing way of pleated ribbons seen in the picture?
Something like this?
Start with a couple of circles, then break apart a single segment and pull up using Push Pull
Make the a component and divide vertically. Draw ars to simulate the curves of the ribbon
Use Curvuloft to make a folding surface from the arced lines to the rest of the outline
Get rid of extra lines and Hide the edge lines in the group. Use Rotate to copy the components around the axis (1 time per side of the original circle
Boom!
