New here. Got through the first video training module. Simply want to draw a triangle. How hard can that be??

It isn’t difficult at all. You can draw an equilateral triangle with the Polygon tool. Get the tool, type 3 and hit Enter. Draw the triangle by clicking to set its center and drag out. Enter the distance from the center to a corner of hit Ctrl (Option on Mac) and draw the distance from the center to the edge.
Or you could use the Line tool to draw a triangle.

“Hit Enter” was missing from my brain! Hopefully as I use this, I can remember some of this stuff!

Practice, practice. It’ll come.
By the way, additionally you can also right click on your triangle after drawing it and choose “Explode Curve” so you get true line segments. This is completely optional, something I have a habit to do but still, I thought I’d share it.
I don’t see “explode Curve”
You have to right click on the edge to get it and the triangle must be drawn with the Polygon tool for it to be “explodable”.
